BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Today is the last day for the Camp Good Days Online auction! There are so many items from jewelry, to electronics, Bills and Sabres clothing, to a special edition Sabres 50th Anniversary Bubble Hockey table.

“Camp Good Days has been around for almost 40 years and we are not about to stop our mission now," Lisa Booz, Western New York Regional Director said. "We really need our Buffalo community and WNY community to help keep us going."

Organizers had to cancel the Camp Good Days Gala this year due to COVID-19. This event raises more than a quarter-million dollars to help kids forget about cancer for a day or a week through fun programs and activities.

“There are so many families that depend on us to get them through cancer and unfortunately cancer isn’t stopping so that’s why we can’t either," Booz said.

Booz and her team have not stopped since the pandemic hit. They are providing families with care packages with medical needs and toys. They’ve also planned a few social distancing friendly events like a drive-in movie night and a car parade.

“I would love to be all shiny and roses like we always are at Camp Good Days but it has been really difficult," Booz said. The online auction provides the non-profit with much-needed funds to run programs throughout the year.

The auction closes Tuesday at 9.

Camp Good Days is also partnering with Churn ice cream. A Smores pint of ice cream costs 10-dollars. Half of that goes to Camp Good Days. You can order the special treat right now!
