BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Lancaster woman who pleaded guilty to stealing $3,800 from the Hillview Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has been sentenced to one year conditional discharge.

Investigators say 42-year-old Danyelle Osika stole money while working as a Hillview Elementary School representative for the Lancaster Central School District. According to authorities, Osika admitted to stealing the money by falsifying records.

She pleaded guilty to Attempted Falsifying Business Records in September. Osika is not allowed to hold any position where she has access to an organization's funds as a condition of her sentencing. She was also removed as the district representative for the PTO-- and has paid back the money.
