Lancaster man arrested in connection to deadly spring crash

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Lancaster man has been arrested in connection to a deadly crash which occurred in May 2019.

According to the Lancaster Police Department, 49-year-old Allen Stirling, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide, along with other vehicle and traffic offenses.

Police say Stirling was driving on William Streetwhen he lost control and crashed his vehicle back in May. His passenger, 41-year-old Jodie Anstett, was killed in the crash.

Stirling was arraigned and taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $25,000 cash/bond.

He is due in court for a felony hearing on November 7.
