LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — Jeremy Casey of Lancaster faces a maximum of seven years in prison for sexual abuse and child pornography charges.

According to the Erie County District Attorney, it is said that the 24-year-old subjected two underage victims to sexual contact in July of last year. Upon further investigation by the Lancaster Police Department, several images of child pornography was found on Casey's phone.

7 Eyewitness News has confirmed that Casey was an employee and board member of the Lancaster Depew Baseball league.

The league released this statement Saturday:

The Lancaster Police Department previously made us aware of a potential situation involving an employee and board member of the League, Jeremy Casey. Upon being informed of the situation, the League immediately suspended Mr. Casey and removed his access to the League’s facilities and resources. We fully cooperated with the police during their investigation, including their request that the League not make any statements or send any notifications while their investigation was ongoing. On January 24, 2019, we were informed that formal criminal charges were filed against Mr. Casey. Given these charges, Mr. Casey has now been officially removed from all positions associated with the Lancaster-Depew Baseball League and is no longer associated in any way with the League or its activities. The League is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our League participants and maintaining the integrity of the League, and took these appropriate and necessary steps to that end.
