LANCASTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Lancaster High School Lancaster Marching Band has been given the honor to represent New York State at the Pearl Harbor Memorial parade in Hawaii. They left on a flight from Toronto early Thursday morning.
The band successfully fundraised more than $96,000 to transport 76 students, 18 chaperones and instruments / gear to Hawaii for the December 7th parade.
The band will perform a medley in honor of the Air Force on Saturday, visit Pearl Harbor on Sunday, then return to WNY on Monday.
