Lackawanna man accused of child sex abuse arraigned

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Lackawanna man accused of child sex abuse was arraigned July 31, the Erie County District Attorney's Office announced.

60-year-old Mark D. Williams was arraigned on two counts of course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

Williams allegedly engaged in two or more acts of sexual conduct with a child less than 11-years-old at a location in the City of Lackawanna.

A search warrant was executed at Williams' home on July 24 and videos depicting the sexual abuse of the victim were allegedly recovered.

Williams is set to return on August 25 for a felony hearing, his bail was set at $75,000.
