LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Lackawanna High School assembly last week ended in a big surprise for one student. Cornell Jones found out he's going to see his favorite musician, Ariana Grande, live at KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
It's all thanks to his special education teacher, Jen Willats. She worked with the group Random Acts Buffalo and Kids Event Tickets to secure four tickets to Grande's March concert.
Cornell's classmates, teachers and Lackawanna administrators surprised him with the tickets at a pep rally. Willats posted the video from the rally on YouTube.
Before the concert, Cornell and his friends will head to Marco's on Niagara thanks to Hope Rises Buffalo.
Jones had floor seats to the concert and needless to say he was so excited!
