TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Kenilworth Volunteer Fire Company is celebrating a milestone.
The department is currently celebrating 100 years of dedicated service to the community in the Town of Tonawanda.
According to the department's website, a group of men in the district got together and founded Kenilworth Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 in 1919.
The fire company currently has more than 50 members.
Kenilworth is always looking for more volunteers. An open house will be held on October 12, 2019.
