BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Kaleida Health public safety officer has been arrested for harassment after an incident with Buffalo Police.
According to Buffalo Police, officers reported to Buffalo General on Thursday for a call and arrested an individual for trespassing. Police say while making the initial arrest, the Kaleida safety officer was obstructing Buffalo Police officers, which led to the arrest for harassment.
The Kaleida Health spokesperson issued this statement about this incident:
“This is a personnel matter that is being handled internally and in conjunction with the Buffalo Police Department. As such, we will not have any further comment. It’s important to note that Kaleida Health and the Buffalo Police Department have a tremendous working relationship, protecting our patients and the citizens of Buffalo. We consider this an extremely isolated incident.”
Police also say this was an isolated incident and Buffalo Police have a great relationship with Kaleida Health.
