BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The jury has reached a verdict on three of the four counts that accused Buffalo Police Officer Corey Krug is facing, but remain deadlocked on a fourth count.
The judge wants them to keep deliberating on that count, which means we'll have to wait until at least Tuesday to know the full verdict.
Krug faces charges of police brutality in multiple incidents,.
One of those incident was caught on camera by 7 Eyewitness news on Thanksgiving Wve in 2014.
The video of that incident showed Krug hitting a man with his baton on Chippewa, and pushing him to a car and then to the ground.
It's unclear which of the counts the jury remains deadlocked on.
On Monday morning the judge excused a jury member for medical reasons, so the trial continued today with eleven jurors.
The jury is returning to court Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. where the judge said he will give them further instructions.
If Krug is convicted he could face ten years in prison.
