TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The City of Tonawanda, the City of North Tonawanda and the Town of Tonawanda are banding together to grow their waterfront.
Announced Thursday, the three municipalities will be sharing resources in an attempt to create a cohesive waterfront.
The sharing of ideas and resources will help the areas take advantage of their locations of the Niagara River and on the Erie Canal.
The hope is that the Tonawandas become a hub for outdoor activity, a hub that will start to see progress in the next few months.
