BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Jeff Musial has owned Nickel City Reptiles and Exotics for more than 20 years, and 2020 is the toughest yet.
"We lost the second half of March, all of April, and it's looking like we're losing all of May," Musial said.
The animal expert has had his business hit hard by COVID-19. Losing that much business means losing on funds that would feed his more than 500 animals.
"It's about $10,000 a month when it comes to food," Musial said.
That's why Musial has started a GoFundMe page, asking for the public to help raise $20,000.
This would feed his animals until the summer when he hopes business would pick up again.
"This happening now is just catestrophic, it's unbelievable," Musial said.
