Jamestown man killed in head-on crash

Witnesses wanted in car vs. pedestrian accident

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — A two-car crash in Chautauqua County resulted in the death of a Jamestown man.

Police say they responded to the report of a two-car crash in the Town of Poland Wednesday evening.

The investigation revealed that 67-year-old Terry Telschow was driving on Route 394 when he crossed into the opposite lane. His car then collided head-on with another car operated by Landon Armstrong, 35, of Conewango Valley.

Armstrong was transported to UPMC Chautauqua but did not appear to have injuries. Telschow had serious injured and was flown by Mercy Flight to ECMC where he later died.

No charges are being filed.
