JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — Jamestown police announced that the investigation is now closed after two people were pronounced dead inside a vehicle on the UPMC Chautauqua Campus.
Police said officers responded to the campus just after 2 p.m on Wednesday for the report of two subjects unresponsive in a vehicle. Investigation determined that the two subjects were dead, and police said the cause of death of both victims was the result of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
According to police, there is no threat to the public and there is no criminal investigation into the matter.
