BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — A local ice cream parlor is doing its part to help the community it serves, with a special event to honor Luca Calanni.
Luca was an 11-year-old boy from Hamburg, who died earlier this month due to complications from the flu.
Since his death, his family started a foundation in his name.
So Saturday, Amsdell Ice Cream in Hamburg held a fundraiser to help out the cause.
In honor of Luca, Amsdell served up treats with an orange flare, with proceeds going to luca's foundation.
