TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) announced an additional lane will be closed on the I-290 westbound in the Town of Tonawanda beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The westbound I-290 between exit 2, Colvin Boulevard and exit, 1 Delaware Avenue, will be reduced to one lane.
The additional lane closure is expected to last a day, so your Friday morning commute may be impacted.
The NYSDOT says motorists should seek alternate routes to avoid delays or allow for additional travel time.
