BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — You can help cancer patients, scientists and doctors make strides against breast cancer this weekend in Buffalo.
Thousands of Western New Yorkers will take a trip down Furhman Boulevard for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k.

Opening Ceremony
Join survivors, caregiver and others who are passionate about saving others from the disease at 9:00 a.m. 7 Eyewitness News Anchors Katie Morse and Ed Drantch will mc the event. 7 ABC is a proud sponsor of the event.
Race
The 5k race starts at 10:00 a.m. The walk begins at 10:15 a.m.

Making Strides Against Cancer raises money and helps the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research. The organization also provides cancer with services such as free places to stay near hospitals, free rides to chemo treatment and a cancer helpline.
