LACKAWANNA, N.Y. (WKBW) — You have a chance to help renovate homes and build a playground for local foster kids. Baker Victory Nite is a major fundraiser for Baker Victory Services in Lackawanna.
The event itself is being held at Templeton Landing, and is already sold out - but you can still donate by clicking here. The money raised will help make life a little better for kids who have to leave their families.
"To make it a more home-like environment for them, for kids who are really traumatized," said Eileen Hudson from Baker Victory Services. "They've been removed from their homes. And to have a playground outside for them to just have some joy and fun during a really traumatic time in their lives."
