BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — COVID-19 has put a wrench in tailgates, Buffalo Bills games, and well… a lot of other things. But it will never stop #BillsMafia. And while game day may look a little different this year, there are still some ways to show that Buffalo Pride.
42 North Brewing Company in East Aurora is committed to creating the ultimate game day experience for fans. The brewery created a game day themed menu, will be playing the Bills game in and outside of their building, and they are even offering up their conference room to whoever wants to rent it.
“Basically what we’re trying to do is, you know, safely put on a party for Bills fans,” manager of the taproom Frederick Marshall said.
The conference room cost $300 to rent the space with a limit of 10 guests.
“You have a private TV, private bathrooms and that does come with food and a case of beer," Marshall said.
But if you’d rather save some cash and create this experience at your home, rent a tent at ABC Rental on Bailey Avenue.
“If somebody wants to tailgate party this weekend we got a $99 special," co-owner of ABC Rental Brett Begley said. "You get a tent a [table and ten] chairs.”
But the owners say if you want to make renting a habit, you might as well invest in your own tent. ABC rentals can sell customers 10 x 10 tents for $249. They also have inflatable games, and bouncy houses for your backyard fun pleasures.
“People still want to go out, they want to tailgate, they want to have a good time," co-owner of ABC Rental Mark Slater said. "Whether it’s at home, whether it’s at a bar or a restaurant.”
