BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — They say summer bodies are made in the winter, but your six-pack is being put on hold due to many gyms closing up in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Many gyms throughout Western New York are starting to hold virtual classes.

You can play a video on your phone or computer and still get a great workout in.

Studio Sophia Fitness Club has a barre/core class from the Zoom! app.

Barre Centric is having their studio go virtual by streaming classes.

Sweat 716 launched its new online workout subscription before gyms started to cancel classes.

You can tune into a high-intensity, barre, or other special workout class all in the comfort of your living room.

"It's really important to keep your body moving as everything is closing and shutting down," said Morgan Karp, owner of Sweat 716. "We don't want to get in that funk, especially mentally and emotionally."

Sweat 716 is posting some free classes to get you started, you can find them here.
