BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Bills are back in the playoffs and Bills fans traveling to Houston should feel right at home for the big game against the Houston Texans.

Where to celebrate:

"It's nuts, just a lot of fun. It's a lot of Bills fans. The street is just wall to wall Bills fans," Chris Alan, co-owner of Christian's Tailgate Bar and Grill, "We do Sahlen's hot dogs. We have Labatt beer. Our place is decorated with Buffalo Bills helmets, flags and memorabilia."

The midtown location of Christian's Tailgate Bar and Grill has been a home away from home for Bills fans for the past 15 years. They're preparing to close Pierce Street and host a pregame party on Friday. Alan said the bar is within walking distance from hotels downtown.

How to get there:

But first, you have to get there. Chuck Teal from Teal Travel said pretty much every flight from Buffalo to Houston is sold out, which means fans will have to head to Rochester, Syracuse or even Cleveland or Pittsburgh to catch a flight.

"Another option could be to fly to Dallas, fly to San Antonio, fly to Austin or New Orleans. They're all 3 to 4 hours away from Houston. You rent a car. That might be an alternative as well," said Teal.

Teal also said hotel reservations and tickets to the game will be easy to get. The flights are what is challenging, so his advice is to book as soon as you can.

"Most people are going to leave Thursday or Friday. It's going to be tight," said Teal.

Where to tailgate:

Saturday, there's a Bills Backers tailgate off of 7667-7691 Fannin Street. Bills Backers Houston has rented out a lot where Bills fans can buy a spot to tailgate. The lot opens well before any NRG lot. The President of Bills Backers Houston said they're working on having the lot open before 8 a.m.
