BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Three home brewers are getting ready to serve their creation at the Erie County Fair.

John Crossett, of North Tonawanda, Brian Milleville, of Sanborn, and Mark Zambron, of West Seneca, won the Fair’s 2019 Home Brew Competition.

Their beer is a German Leichtbier - a pale, light-bodied lager. According to a spokesperson for the Fair, judges said the beer had “impressive flavor and aroma” for a light bodied beer and was “crisp and refreshing.”

“The biggest prize for any home brewer to have to is to have your beer brewed at a brewery, and it's on tap for friends and family, and your colleagues can come, enjoy a good time, buy your beer and really enjoy it,” said Crossett.

The 180th Erie County Fair kicks off on August 7, 2019.
