BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — The snowmaking machines are firing on all cylinders at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, and ski season can't be far behind.
It's a man-made blizzard.
Nearly 250 guns are blasting snow around the clock, from one end of the resort, to the other.
That includes Sunrise, Cindy's Run, Mardi Gras, Morning Star, Yodeler and the Candy Cane loop.
Resort officials say they plan to open this week, but they can't say exactly which day yet.
Of course a lot of that depends on the weather.
