BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — You can now get your hair cut in one of Buffalo's oldest buildings. The Silos at Elk are known for their rich history and a local businessman believes they're the perfect place to position himself for success.
"I wanted to bring a Caribbean feel to a barbershop... I came up those stairs and it all came to me, I was like wow. This would be perfect for a barbershop," said Oral Roberts, owner of Cove and Mill Barbering Company.
It opened in October of 2019. It's a place to enjoy architecture, reggae music and get a shave. Roberts really wanted to celebrate his Caribbean roots.
"It's a great environment, I mean the music, the people and everything. It's a really good time. When you leave here, you feel better," said customer Rick Lapinski.
Roberts is hoping the historical site can attract him more business. They offer services of all kinds.

"Whether it's pixie cuts, bald fades, men, women, children, anyone who needs a haircut," said Roberts.
They're also looking to hire more barbers, preferably someone with clientele.
They're open Monday-Saturday, starting at 10am. Walk-ins are welcome. Go to their website to book appointments or call 716-625-2683.
