JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 19-year-old man is facing charges after a road rage incident in Jamestown, Monday.

Jamestown police say Jacob Slade got so upset, after another driver turned in front of him, that he chased that driver down. Once he caught up, police say Slade got out of his car and used a hatchet to hack the hood of the other car.

Slade took off, according to police.

The driver of the other car was able to take a picture of Slade's license plate.

Police wound up finding Slade a little later in Falconer.

Slade is now facing criminal mischief charges.

Police say Slade caused about $1,500 in damage.
