BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County District Attorney's Office says Harvey Weinstein will appear virtually in Erie County Court Friday August 14.
Weinstein is currently serving a 23-year sentence for sex crimes at Wende Correctional Facility in Alden. He was transferred to Wende from from Rikers Island in March.
Weinstein will appear virtually before Judge Kenneth Case at 11:30 a.m. Friday for an extradition proceeding.
7 Eyewitness News has learned the Los Angeles District Attorney has requested temporary custody of Weinstein for additional charges he faces in Los Angeles.
