BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Halloween is still a few weeks off, but the trick-or-treating is already underway at the Buffalo Zoo.
Parents brought their kids to the zoo Saturday for a safe Halloween celebration.
The children dressed up, with superhero and animal costumes seeming to be the most popular.
Zoo officials set up ten candy stations at the various exhibits, so there were plenty of treats to be had..
Zoo Communications Manager Christian Dobosiewicz, said, "We've limited our ticket sales, everything had to be purchased online ahead of time. We're just making sure everyone's safe and social distancing. Everybody's wearing a mask, with a costume mask or a protective mask. Everybody's being great here and we couldn't ask for a better turnout."
The Halloween fun continues Sunday at the Buffalo Zoo from 1pm - 4pm.
