Guidelines to reducing fear and anxiety and get accurate information during a health crisis

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The World Health Organization posted new guidelines over the weekend to help protect people’s mental health during this health crisis.

“WHO and public health authorities around the world are acting to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. However, this time of crisis is generating stress in the population.”

The document stressed the importance of the severity of the pandemic, but also provided tips for how to get accurate information that is aimed at protecting your health and not adding to any anxiety or stress you might have over COVID-19.
