BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The blue pumpkin drive is back this year.
The event raises money for the Buffalo Police K-9 Unit.
It's in honor of Buffalo police lieutenant Craig Lehner, who died during a training exercise on the Niagara River in 2017.
Friends of Lehner buy and paint all these pumpkins with the help of their neighbors.
They're on sale this weekend on West Woodside Avenue in Buffalo.
It runs Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
