BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Tappo Pizza's patio got a makeover with the help of some local mural and graffiti artists.
One of those artists was Mark Madden, owner of Madd Grafix, and he said the patio is dubbed 'Art Channel 8."
The featured artist and curator said it was a massive effort to channel new artists - local, national and international, into making the neighborhood an art destination for Buffalo.
"This is the purest form to get art on the wall as quick as we can like this," he said. "So the whole mural concept for this area has been around forever, but now that Rocco [Termini] came in with the development here, we actually have an area that we can showcase our skills."
The official opening and celebration kicked off Saturday evening at 6 p.m.
