BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Traditionally, Giving Tuesday is held around Thanksgiving bringing meals and holiday cheer to people in need.
However, members of the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara Falls are taking part in Giving Tuesday later today.
Club members will be making and donating masks to Community Missions and the Casey House Youth Center.
Members also hope to start a new push to help those impacted by COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Walmart is teaming up with teaming up with the Salvation Army to help neighborhoods hardest hit by the coronavirus.
With an increase in demand, the organization set up a registry with Walmart where you can purchase items.
Whatever you buy from the Registry For Good will go to the Salvation Army in Erie County to help those in need.
