BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — There are now just four days until Buffalo Public School students hit the books, or the laptops at home. That means more than 30,000 students will be logging on for remote learning come Tuesday morning.

"There are still things we will be doing over the weekend, but I think we're in a good place," said Dr. Darren Brown-Hall.

The district says it has done everything it can to get laptops, ipads and hot spots in the hands of students. So far, nearly 27,000 students have picked up a device. Just under 3,700 have not.

The district says there have been student device pickups since the middle of August. Today was not a scheduled day despite some showing up.

There is a remote learning hotline at 716-816-7100.
