TOWN OF ALEXANDER, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Genesee County woman is dead following an ATV crash early Saturday morning in the Town of Alexander.
The sheriff's office responded to a single ATV crash on a private road off of Seward Road just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
The operator, 33-year-old Michelle G. Buckenmeyer of Alexander appeared to have collided with a chained barricade across the road and was ejected from the ATV, according to the sheriff's office.
Buckenmeyer was transported to ECMC by Mercy Flight, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The sheriff's office says officials are continuing to investigate the crash.
