TOWN OF BYRON, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is looking for information as to why garbage bags with animal remains were found in a corn field in the Town of Byron.
Authorities say, several garbage bags were dumped in the area of Merriman and Cook Roads some time last Friday, and included remains from two small calves, pigs, and other animals.
Animal control officers, along with officials from the Lollypop Farm Humane Society and Orleans County Dog Control assisted with the investigation.
