HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Hamburg school received an honor on Tuesday for its efforts to fight cancer.
Frontier Middle School was given a ‘Herd of Hope’ blue buffalo from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Officials with the school say faculty, staff, students and their families have participated in the “Goin’ Bald for Bucks” program to help raise money to fight cancer for the past three years.
Roswell Park’s blue buffalo is part of a larger herd which unites the community’s collective efforts in finding a cure for cancer.
