AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — What better day to kick off spooky season than Friday the 13th?

For the eighteenth time now, Frightworld Screampark has opened it doors to Western New York residents daring enough to walk through its haunted houses. This year, the attraction will have five different haunted house experiences including a new house themed after Area 51.

The team at Frightworld has been working on the attraction for more than 20 days and general manager Stephen Szortyka believes this year will be better than the rest.

This year, Frightworld is at a new location, 2055 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst. For opening weekend, tickets are priced at $20, but for the rest of its opening it wil be $30. November 2 is the last day you can visit the screampark. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
