BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Sarah Cole, 34, passed away yesterdayafter a car accident in Cheektowaga last week. Now one of her best friends is making sure she is never forgotten.

Daniel Bacon met Cole in junior high school while growing up in the City of Tonawanda. He said Cole was always there for her friends.

"She was just that type of person that would boost you up regardless of what was going on in her life," he said. "She always wanted to make sure her friends were happy and smiling, and she was just the life of the party."

Cole was a big supporter of Bacon's custom t-shirt business, Custom716. Now he's using shirts, decals, and hoodies as a way to remember Cole. You can see the designs here.

She leaves behind a husband and three children. Part of the proceeds from the apparel will go to help her family.

"She was a great mom, I mean she loved her kids, literally her becoming a mom totally changed her life," Bacon said.

Cole loved to help others. Her mother said she's proud all of Cole's organs were donated, and are helping local people.

Bacon is setting up a celebration of life party to remember Cole, a few days before her birthday in April.

"They say the good die young, you know what I mean," he said. "And it's crazy how when it actually hits you, and effects your life, its true."

The GoFundMe has raised more than $4,300 of its $30,000 goal.
