TOWN OF POMFRET, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Fredonia man is dead following a farm tractor crash in the Town of Pomfret Friday afternoon.
New York State police say 50-year-old Dan Hunt was traveling southbound on State Route 60 on a farm tractor and when turning onto a farm access road the tractor he was operating went into an embankment.
After going into the embankment the tractor struck a tree and rolled, ultimately coming to a rest on top of Hunt.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Chautauqua County Coroner.
