NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police in North Tonawanda say four teenagers have been charged with third degree assault following an incident of bullying caught on camera.

According to police, the teens charged include the three teens seen on camera and an additional teen that was found to be involved.

Authorities are not releasing the names of those charged due to their ages.

Additionally, each of their parents have also been issued with a notice of violation under North Tonawanda’s bullying ordinance.

Under the ordinance, first time offenses receive the notice of violation, a 2nd offense would result in fines for the parents.

These are all first time offenses under the ordinance.

The case will now be referred to the probation department who will likely send the case to family court.
