WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — From growing up in Lancaster, to getting 'Wicked' on Broadway and now back in Buffalo, Nicky Venditti is dancing through life and bringing fitness through dance to WNY.

“I want to build community and I think Buffalo really breeds that communal vibe," said Venditti.

He’s been performing on stage for over a decade. But when the stage doors of Broadway closed due to the pandemic, he decided to make a major change.

I used it as a catalyst to take a chance to come back home be close to my family and introduce my version of dance fitness," said Venditti.

Now, he’s bringing his Broadway experience to Williamsville. Opening Nicky Venditti’s Fitness and Wellness where he will teach workout classes and offer holistic life coaching.

"I also teach yoga. I want to bridge those world’s together, I don’t think there’s one place where you can get all of that," said Venditti.

You’ll notice there are no weights or heavy machinery. It’s all about getting on your feet, defying gravity, and dancing it out.

"You really do get lost and you just start to release the endorphins and you’re hearing the music so it is like this escapism sort of work out," said Venditti.

He says it’s a perfect way to get active and boost your immune system to start 2021. Things are just getting started, Venditti will start teaching things virtually later this month.

“And I’m hoping by the beginning of March I’m gonna be open for that communal vibe and having people come into the space," said Venditti.

He offers free 15 minute consultations and current prices are:

  • 1 hour in-person private training: $110
  • 1 hour virtual private training: $85
