BATAVIA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Flu activity is now high in the United States and expected to continue for weeks to come, according to the CDC.
In response, United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC) in Batavia is implementing the following visitor restrictions until further notice.
- Only two visitors per patient at a time
- All visitors must be at least 14-years-old.
- Do not visit patients if you are experiencing a sore throat, runny nose, fever or any other flu-like symptoms.
