BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say five people were shot and one person was killed during an early Saturday morning party.
According to police the incident occurred just after 3 a.m. in the area of Glenwood and Jefferson Avenues during "some type of street party gathering."
Police say one person was pronounced dead at the scene and the other victims were taken to ECMC for treatment.
Officials say a 23-year-old woman from Cheektowaga was killed, a 25-year-old man from Buffalo was initially listed in critical condition, a 21-year-old Buffalo man is listed in fair condition, a 23-year-old Buffalo man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries and a 37-year-old Buffalo man has been treated and released.
