Teen rescued from burning Buffalo home

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo fire investigators are hunting for the cause of an overnight fire on Woodlawn Avenue.

Crews were called to the scene just after 2:30am and in the process rescued a 15-year-old boy from a second story bedroom. The boy was taken to Oishei Children's Hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation. Another male inside the home did make it out safely.

Fire officials say damage is estimated at $150,000.
