ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Thousands of fans braved the wind and rain to tailgate ahead of the Buffalo Bills first preseason game of the 2019 season.

And second year quarterback Josh Allen was the talk of the afternoon.

"He's got it. He's a young guy, got a good arm, he's ready to go," one fan said. Another added: "He's coming along really good. He's ahead of his time right now. He did really well as a rookie and he's just stepping up and that guy is going to be a different player this year."

Fans are hopeful the team will make it to the playoffs this year, some even seeing a Super Bowl ring in the future for Buffalo.

"When you don't hear too much about the Buffalo Bills, that's when they do good. When they have too much hype, they seem to tank," David Daniels, a lifelong Bills fan, said.
