Erie County SPCA brings back its summer camp for kids and you can get a discount

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) — It's a chance for your kids to get a unique summer camp experience and continue learning after the school year ends.

For the third year, the Erie County SPCA is bringing back its summer camp for children. It's open to kids ages six to 14 and for the first time, you can get discounts for multiple-week and sibling registrations.

This year's camp will feature several themes, including "Sense-ational Pets," "Arts and Animals," "Paws and Claws," "Vet Academy 101 & 102," and "Humane Heroes."

All classes and activities are being offered as mini-camps or full-week camps 9:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. starting June 24, running through mid-August.

The SPCA is also offering a new "Counselors-In-Training" program for teenagers between 15 and 17 years old who want to learn more about working with animals and children.

Costs for registration vary but you can also get a discount for early-bird registration. Before and after-camp care will be available for additional fees. early bird registration runs through March 31.
