BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Sheriff's Office received a 10-gallon drum of hand sanitizer from a Michigan-based company to help their workers on the frontlines.

The Sheriff's Office says it is combining the hand sanitizer with donated dry wipes to create disinfectant wipes.

“We appreciate how community members and businesses, including companies like PVS Chemicals, have come together to help the war against COVID-19 here in Erie County," said Deputy Aaron M. Naegely. "The hand sanitizer and creation of the disinfectant wipes was 100% made possible thanks to PVS.”

PVS Chemicals also donated hand sanitizer to the Detroit Public Safety Foundation.
