GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly crash on Grand Island that occurred just before 6 a.m. on April 3.
The sheriff's office said a 69-year-old Grand Island man was operating a Kia Rio north on Grand Island Boulevard and attempted to make a left turn into the Tops parking lot when he allegedly failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle, which resulted in a collision.
The man was transported to ECMC and died from his injuries on April 6.
