Erie County Sheriff's deputies arrest woman for hit-and-run DWI at 3.5 times legal limit

NORTH COLLINS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard says a 24-year-old North Collins woman has been arrested for an aggravated hit-and-run DWI that was at 3.5 times the legal limit.

The Sheriff's Office was called to assist Brandt police for a hit-and-run accident just before 7 p.m. where investigators say Brooke Morley was found to be 3.5 times the legal blood alcohol content level in North Collins.

Morley also failed multiple sobriety tests and has been charged with the following

  • Aggravated DWI
  • DWI
  • Speeding

Morley was issued appearance tickets and released.
