BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Former football player Eric Wood will be joining the Buffalo Bills as a member of the media and content team.
The Bills made the announcement Tuesday.
Wood will replace Mark Kelso as a radio color commentator alongside John Murphy on WGR Sports Radio 550 and Entercom’s Bills Radio Network.
In a statement to 7 Eyewitness News, the team says Kelso decided to step away from broadcasting to focus more on his role with NASCAR racing team JTG Daugherty Racing.
The Bills drafted Wood in the first round of the 2009 draft. The former center anchored the Bills offensive line for nine seasons and started a total of 120 games.
Wood retired from the NFL in 2018.
