ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — You can now add Fall Fest in Ellicottville to the long list of festivals and traditions put on hold this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors says it made the difficult decision to cancel this year's festival out of an abundance of caution. The board noted the uncertainty of travel bans and restrictions on the size of social gatherings.
Since 1975, Fall Fest has drawn tens of thousands of people to Ellicottville for one weekend every October. The village comes alive with live entertainment, an arts and crafts show, and shopping and dining galore - all surrounded by fall foliage at its peak.
